We went for restaurant week and were very satisfied with everything. the dishes offered reflected their larger menu very well, and eating was absolutely delicious. service was really good, and the manager came and personally questioned about our experience. we were very satisfied a cave has read her bill carefully. they already include a satisfaction/service fee, but still leave a place for them to drink.
We had brunch. eating was good, but not remarkable given the prices they calculated. the personal was friendly and attentive. I have chosen this place because we do not like loud restaurants, and it is name and reviews suggested it would be a good place to have a conversation. it was boundlessly loud, plus, the restaurant was more than half empty and yet the host puts us at a table so close to our neighbour that we essentially eat with them. Finally, they added an automatic service supplement to our bill, which I fully support the necessity to do this, but they did this on an inconspicuous note that it was not specified in the menu and if I were not careful, I would have added another tipp to it.
Fun atmosphere, good eating and service. a little expensive, but it is worth a special occasion!
Stayed at the Thompson and wanted to try it. Have loved other Thompson related restaurants like Manta in Cabo. Like many restaurants they are still dealing with Covid staff shortages but they all pitched in and hustled. Food was tasty and fresh. Parmesan fries to start. BLT salad a real hit and the carrots soup unique. We each had a pasta and were very happy. They have some interesting hidden Gems in the wine area. They just need to get it all organized. Would come back for sure.
Descending upon this stylish eatery housed within a hotel, patrons are greeted by a visually stunning ambiance and friendly service. While the culinary offerings boast fresh and unique flavors—such as a standout crab Benedict and delightful truffle fries—the execution can be inconsistent, with some dishes falling flat or lacking seasoning. Desserts, particularly the chocolate crème brûlée, receive high praise. Weekend brunch can be busy, but the accommodating staff and free valet make for a pleasant experience. Overall, this restaurant has potential with its creative menu and impressive service, yet it’s advisable to manage expectations regarding certain dishes.

We waited for 45 minutes for our food at a table for two. The 20 percent standard gratuity added was ridiculous.
This is a very nice restaurant in the Thompson Hotel lobby. The setting is very modern, hip and young. The food was very good, but the portions were way too much for us. Our server, Tony, was very friendly, personable, helpful, and attentive.
We did the special three course menu for Monday dinner along with a wine offering, great value and everything was great. Really kind and attentive staff, our server Kailee (might be spelled wrong! was fantastic. My only complaint is that my halibut was served in a sweetish broth, which wasn’t my favorite but that’s just my personal taste preference! Overall great place for date night.

Came for brunch with some friends. This place is nice but parking on a weekend is tough in the downtown area. The valet is free for 2 hours so that is good. Tried the lox and bagels which was good. My wife tried the crab Benedict which was okay as well but had a lot of spinach for her liking. The potatoes that came along were really great. The staff was friendly and very helpful specifically since we were late for our reservation. We barely made it by closing time and they were very accommodating. The service was super fast as well.
On a whim, my wife and I decided to do a breakfast date here one morning. We like to try new things on dates so I decided to go with eggs Benedict, the same as my wife. I never order eggs Benedict, as poached eggs are very regularly poorly cooked and executed in a dish. These poached eggs were masterfully done, to the point where we came back the next morning and I actually ordered the same dish again. This is uncharacteristic for me and speaks volumes to the quality of the chef and the subordinate staff. If you are in need of high quality breakfast in a peaceful atmosphere this is the place. I do recommend that you set aside time to properly enjoy your meal. This is not your local mom and pop diner, this is where you go when you want high end, enjoyable breakfast and staff that reflects that.
Never had better eggs Benedict. We came here for breakfast, complimentary with our hotel stay. We were surprised by all the amazing dishes on the menu. All the portions were quite large and satisfied our appetites after hiking for hours the previous day. Everything tasted to perfection. Fresh orange juice, friendly staff, and quick service. 10/10 recommend.
Absolutely exceptional and one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Service perfect. Seating perfect. Food perfect. Decor was tasteful but not overdone. An absolute highlight of an experience that makes other good restaurants look bad by comparison — and our server Blake gets high marks too. We were seated away from people with a reasonably sized party and had plenty of attention without feeling burdened by it. Everything from the menu to the flatware felt fun and creative and “on brand” with a cohesive “conversation” theme that takes after the restaurant’s namesake. It’s not cheap, all things considered; you’ll pay $100 a person if you consider tip and 3 courses, as may be suggested by the menu itself but you could walk in and out for $60 100 if you really played it close to the vest and 2 people got simple entrees, and a few additions. Creative, comfortable, quality, would go back in a heartbeat! 10/10
Food was delicious. I had a cocktail I didn’t like, but they promptly replaced it. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious, but definitely a bit small. Truffle fries didn’t disappoint, though instead of mayo, it would’ve been nice to have a lemon or red pepper aioli. The burrata was delicious with the root veggies and squash. For entrees, the pork collar was amazingly flavorful and the chimichurri and whatever the other sauce made the dish incredibly delicious. The mushroom pasta was a little gummy, but the flavor was perfect. It was like mac cheese though, so we were happy to share it. The burger was enormous, but a little overdone for a medium, but the bacon was delicious. The dessert was delicious. We got the chocolate crème brûlée and it had notes of orange and caramel. It was spectacular. Service was perfect. I did find it odd that they charge the 20% service charge, but they don’t give most of that to the server (it’s printed on the bill). That price should just be reflected in the food price instead of taking it out of server tips. They should fix that.
