I have always experienced excellent service at this restaurant. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The coffee is decent. There are parking lots on both sides of the restaurant, so if one is full, you can usually find a spot on the other side. View all feedback.
What Eliza Gulgowski doesn't like about Chelan Cafe:
I stood at the entrance, ready to be seated for about 10 minutes, but no one acknowledged me, so I left. During this time, I saw a server drop butter on her shoe, but she did not wash her hands after cleaning her shoe and the floor (disgusting). View all feedback.
Beautiful, clean diner. my daughter and I ate breakfast there, and it was pretty good. the French toast was delicious, with zimt and vanille. the hatebrown were crunchy and the coffee was excellent. the service was simply not a place for a fast meal, but good for a relaxed one.
The eggs Benedict is really solid here. The bar atmosphere is great and open during breakfast if you don’t want to sit in the diner part.
I’m not one for giving bad reviews, don’t want to hurt business but MAN that was unacceptably bad food, horrible. The worst eggs I’ve ever had by a long shot, rubbery, zero flavor, not even sure they were real scrambled eggs. Bacon must have been microwaved. Hashbrowns as bad as everything else. After getting down what I could I waited with my card on the table for at least ten minutes, had to go to the bar and get her attention just to pay, despite there being only two other customers in there. Dang, bad bad experience.
We love taking our West Seattle family out for breakfast at this landmark Cafe. Great menu for the under eight crowd and those of us a little older. Can't go wrong with the omelets, frenchie, or pancakes
It’s like” CHEERS” The bar the same people been going to after work for years. Where everyone knows everybody, Drinks and food are made to order. It’s very humble with a blue collar feel. Cheers!
