The best customer service I’ve ever received hands down! Food was great and came out super fast. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel like this spot deserves the love. Special shout out to Amir who goes above and beyond for his customers!! I would recommend to this spot to anyone who loves good food and a good atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Nibedita Paul doesn't like about Cedars In University District:
I'll not recommend this place. It was the worst Indian food I have ever had. The spices were not tried, the serving was too less. They did not even have proper dining plates. I ordered a chicken and a fish dish, the fish tasted raw...: View all feedback.
Don't order any tandooris. The meats are lack of flavor and tough to eat. The soup is just a plain soup.
Probably one of my favorite places to get Indian cuisine in the Seattle Area. One perk of this location in the University district, is that there is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant itself (pay-to-park). The restaurant itself has a decent amount of seating. It has a very local mom and pops vibe, and feels like you 're at home having a meal. Their service is really good as well. If you have not had Indian food before, as always, try the Chicken Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken. You can 't go wrong. Their naan is so good as well! Probably one of the largest portions of naan I 've gotten in one order. Which pairs amazing with any of their dishes. Their prices are decent, and my request would be to get more pieces of meat in their dishes. The chicken is cooked so well, but just didn 't feel like there was enough for an order.
There is so much about eating and the service of this restaurant to love! I have been doing here since college (10 years) and can not recommend it enough; lamb kokos curry, huhn tikka masala, butter huh, mango leti, chai, the works!
One of the better restaurants in the U-Viertel. we were a party of 5 and came at ~4:30 for an early dinner. we sat immediately and were asked to scan the QR code for the menu and it is where they order their items. but they can also ask for a physical menu that I chose. it feels more human. overall the items were rich in taste and in portions were good. all the articles we got were medium-size, which was tailored to the American palette. I'm terrible with spicy foods, but I found it need more. baba ghannoj roast, smooth, and packed with aubergine and sesame taste. it comes with 1 large pita brot, which is hardly enough for the whole soße. So I would recommend asking for another pita or get some naan baigan bhartha my new favorite way to enjoy auberginen. the aubergine is soft enough to melt in the mouth, but also has the correct amount of strength to have a satisfactory bite. when they come here, it's a must to get articles. tons of complementary seasonings, perfectly cooked vegetables, and only enough sauce to suck with rice or naan. tandoori chicken large pieces of chicken upper leg and lighter. very delicate and juicy pieces of meat and it comes with rice and sweet. delicious items and couples beautiful with the raita desserts we have kheer and gulab jamun. both are ripe in taste and beautifully seasoned. 3 pieces gulab jamun in 1 order. kheer was in a small bowl, but very rich. I'd say both are enough for two.
The best Indian restaurant in the university district! not only is eating amazing, but the staff is very friendly and appreciated for customers. my wife and I got chai here for the first time. the portions are large and the midday specialties are very much if they can stop on the afternoon.
