Contribute FeedbackIn the heart of Seattle, one restaurant is making a name for itself with its flavorful Thai cuisine, but not without some growing pains. Diners rave about dishes like basil fried rice and Pad Kee Mao, praising their authenticity and bold flavors. However, service times can be sluggish, leaving guests frustrated during peak hours. Some dishes have been noted for inconsistencies, such as missing ingredients or unexpected flavors. Despite the occasional misstep and long waits, the friendly atmosphere and commendable menu options, including gluten-free and vegan items, make this location a worthy consideration for Thai food enthusiasts.
My favorites are the pad Thai and fried tofu. My boyfriend loves the fried rice and chicken satay. The food is rich and flavorful. Every dish has been cooked and prepared perfectly for us. Lychee juice and Thai iced coffee are also delicious. Kind and efficient service here. We usually do takeout, but dining in is nice too. Clean restaurant, quaint atmosphere.
While the food was excellent, the service was terrible. They were nice but incredibly slow. They served my husband’s phad thai 20 minutes before my cashew tofu. He tried to wait for me but I convinced him to eat. The table next to us had the same experience. Two dishes delivered that they stared at and waited and waited. Haha, and they didn’t put cashews in my cashew tofu! Short staffed?!
ขอบคุณ Khob Kun KaOverall a yummy experience, but mixed feelings about this joint. I was expecting minimal fuss and down to earth, the grub is good and a tasty haul of Fried Tofu with Chili Sauce Tau Hu Tod เต้าหู้ทอด with Mixed Vegetable Stir-Fry ผัดผักรวม Pad Pak Ruam , but the fine dining vibe is a huge turn off for me and really unnecessary. Even down to the side of mixed vegetables with salt? The food is dope, keep it simple and authentic in my opinion.Support local businesses!
Excellent food here! Possibly the best Thai I've had in Seattle. Got the Basil fried rice for takeout and it was so flavorful and delicious! It's also spicy which I like, when it says spicy it's actually spicy! Staff was friendly when I picked my order up and it looks super clean and nice inside. Definitely excited to try other things from here!Update: later tried the Pad Kee Mao and it was DELICIOUS!! This is officially my favorite Thai restaurant in Seattle :
I love Cashew Thai! I've gotten takeout here several times and it's always super tasty. The portions are great and the flavors are on point. The staff is also very welcoming and service is fast.Food: 5/5
