Carnivore was closed for remodeling and open table still kept giving us updates about our upcoming reservation that day. What a fiasco on an anniversary dinner date

Ok food. Too hung up on paleo. Not focused enough on quality

We went there for my husband’s birthday because he had been craving a steak. We sat down and started looking over the menu, ordered drinks, and had decided what we wanted when the waiter came to take our order. Right before we ordered, the server asked if we had heard what they were out of. We hadn’t, so he told us. They were out of 2/5 large plates, one being the NY strip steak, as well as 1/5 of the small plates. For a restaurant that only has about 15 options between starters, small, and large plates this seemed kind of ridiculous, especially on a Saturday night at 8. We were going to go with the NY strip, so it was unfortunate that they were out. Also, that left the only other steak option the Ribeye for $20 more than the NY strip price. We ended up just getting the small plate Steak Morsels. The food we ended up ordering was good, but nothing mind blowing for the price. Overall, the service was really good and the server was really pleasant, the drinks were great, but the food and experience were disappointing.

Service was fantastic and the food was great. I think the only thing negative as it was a little dark inside so it was hard to read the menu.

Carnivore was closed for renovations, yet OpenTable still sent us updates about our upcoming reservation for that day. It was quite a fiasco for our Jubilee dinner.
