Great location in South Lake Union. I really like the massive windows they open up when the weather is nice. The food is good and consistent each time. It can get busy, so good to come early or closer to closing. I end up coming at least once on each trip to Seattle. View all feedback.
What Alexys Pouros doesn't like about Ba South Lake Union:
The proportion was small and the protein content was disappointing. It might look like a lot in the picture, but that's because I had something else to add. Otherwise I'd only get two pieces of small oxen and a few pieces of beef. Flavor was pretty good, so if you are looking for Pho, are in the area, and do not want to go far or drive, you could also check this place. View all feedback.
Delicious fare!! I tried the Vietnamese cold coffee I’d recommend it! I tried the vegan curry with ramen noodles I really loved it too!! The service was quick and pleasant! I’d consider stopping by here again when meeting a colleague or just grabbing a meal by myself!
First time having ox tail in pho and I can say pho sure it’s incredible. The meat was tender and flavorful and the broth was equally as good. Good amount of noodles in the bowl too. We also had the pandan cake too which apparently is only served on weekends. Highly recommend that as a dessert! The passion fruit adds a nice tart to it.
Some of the best waitstaff/bartenders around. The food is amazing and the vibe is so cool. I haven’t had anything that wasn’t delicious here, but my favorites are the Crispy Imperial rolls, the Lemongrass Rockfish, and the Combo Vermicelli Noodles. There is some parking nearby and they do have outdoor seating with umbrellas.
Very nice and modern Vietnamese restaurant in the South Sea Association. I ordered the crispy rolls (cha gio) and I must say I like how crispy they are. The fish sauce was okay. It's a funny place to hang around with your friends or have a date. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Walking around hungry around SLU after a doctor visit, I decided on this place because of its healthy fare, nice ambience, and the fact that it's open at 1430 on a weekday.Okay, let me scratch healthy from my description since the first thing I ordered was their frozen cocktail. Yes, it may be raining (for the past month), cloudy and damp, but every season is the correct season for any frozen alcoholic beverage, especially for one this good. I got the coconut, and it has a nice kick to it. 2 frozen cocktails at happy hour prices would leave any afternoon drinker with a satisfying buzz.I also got their happy hour chicken salad and fried egg rolls. Both were also fantastic! It reminded me of a restaurant I used to frequent back home in Asia serving modern Vietnamese fusion. The ingredients were fresh. Everything had a touch of sourness and sweetness, with a punch of mint. There were subtle layers in the taste of their food, which my tipsy self thoroughly enjoyed. I idly ate while people watching through the huge windows beside my table. When it was time to pay the bill, I was informed that my server made a mistake and gave me the full sized dishes instead of the happy hour sizes. The server managed my expectations for future visits and charged me the happy hour prices without me having to ask. I was impressed that they didn't blame the customer for their error or found an excuse to charge me full price when the agreed upon price was lower.I can totally see myself spending time with friends over drinks in this cozy place on my next visit. Thumbs up!
