Kona's - Seal Beach

I wrote in September a breathtaking review of Sam's seafood, the food was scarce and overpriced, but I loved the ambience. Well, I have some vouchers in the post for Happy Hour (drinks and appetizers all 2.95 and so my Hubby and I gave him a second chance. It was excellent! I had the salad and the sweet potato fries – both delish. My husband got the pulled pork sandwiches and loved them. IT inspired us to go back to Brunch on Sunday. We were BLOWN AWAY! The food was nicely prepared and all super quality. They had Makadamia Nuss white chocolate pancakes, amazing fruit selection and good cheeses (Bree, yum! as well as meat on bars, eggs, potatoes, Omelet station and a desert selection that was killer. I've never seen such big cream puppets before! Unlimited champagne and coffee was included and our glasses were refilled after each swallow! The best part is a running Hula Show all morning, which will be really good at 11:00. They even take guests to dance and I was one of them. We had an explosion and we can't wait to go back. Congratulations to Konas – you did it! I'm a changed woman!
