I travel quite a bit for work and usually stay at hotels like Hampton Inn. To be honest, I don't think I have ever had a bad experience at a Hampton Inn. They are always very clean and quiet. This location was exactly what I was expecting. The staff was friendly and informative. Check-in was super quick. They had hot coffee out ready to go for guests. The room was really clean, which I am always glad to see. The room... View all feedback.
What Jeffrey C doesn't like about Hampton Inn By Hilton:
Not sure what the point is for online check-in and digital key if they make you come in and pay an incidental fee. Also hotel showing tons of wear and tear. Don't waste your time staying here. Makes me ashamed to say I'm a Hilton Honors member View all feedback.
The hotel is nice and clean, and seems relatively new. I stayed there on Nov 6, 2020. While the hotel did not seem crowded, the walls are paper thin. Two women checked in around 11pm with a small child. It literally sound like they we in the same room, that 's how loud and clear I could hear their lengthy conversation. I realize the COVID concern is high, but the complementary breakfast was horrendous, with an imitation egg omelet and biscuit and gravy being the only hot food items. I would never expect a gourmet breakfast but for an almost $170 nights stay, at least throw in a slice of bacon or a sausage patty. I like the Hampton Inn 's very much. I normally stay at the one in Dover on my travels, but it was sold out for what ever reason. That one is an older building, but much quieter for guests. I 'm afraid the Seaford Hampton Inn didn 't win over my future stays in the area.
We always have a good experience whenever we have stayed at a Hampton. The one in Seaford is no different. Clean and the breakfast is good.
This Hampton inn is nice for the area. The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are friendly and accommodating. I am staying during all the covid nonsense so the gym and pool are closed ughh. Free breakfast is only served Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Not sure why the breakfast is like that not the other amenities as the state has allowed both to be operational. Had those been available I'd give the place 5 Stars....
An older property but very clean. The staff is quite accommodating as well. I mentioned to the front desk the need for maintenance on the fitness center equipment. He said it had just been serviced earlier that week, but would look into it more. He also asked the District Manager, who was onsite, to comment on the recent servicing. The way they responded and listened was extremely professional and comforting. When I'm in the area I will definitely stay at this location again.
We arrived on a Tuesday evening for a four-night stay. Having visited the area in July, we decided that this hotel was our best option for exploring the Delmarva Peninsula on a budget. My wife looked into other Hilton locations closer to the beach, but they were simply too pricey for us. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and we enjoyed our time there. Since we were visiting during the pandemic, the housekeeping staff was very helpful and friendly, providing us with fresh towels and additional supplies like toilet paper while we exchanged items in the hallway. We really appreciated that the toilet flushed effectively, but be cautious—it's best to maintain a safe distance when flushing, or you might lose something! Overall, our stay was pleasant, but we believe improvements are needed in the parking entry area. Twice during our stay, the entrance (which we share with Walmart and another retail space) was nearly impassable due to standing water that doesn’t seem to drain properly. In our opinion, this issue needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
