Good for the Out-of-Towner. I happened upon Castaways while on a business trip with three of my colleges. This place is great for out of towners. All 5 hostesses lacked personality, (they almost passed for 'nice enough ' but made up for it with general hotness. We asked to sit on the upper outside deck. (Awesome view of the little bay, and town. The crew upstairs were solid. Our waitress was very easy to talk to, and patient. She made great suggestions, and was very attentive of refilling our beers. (Pretty decent selection. Her food runner/busser, was also an all around solid guy. Good conversation, very good food, decent prices. (Won 't break your bank. I would definitely go back. And I would definitely order the New England clam chowder, and the muscles!

Favorite place for sunset drinks. I live very close to Castaways. Been there many many times. Food for the most part is great! Remember this was there first summer. Cant wait to get back for another fun summer and sit on the decks watching boats!!! Overall I give it 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Love it

Good. I loved the deck can not wait to go there again and have drinks on it. We went for lunch, waitress was very nice the food was good. The prices could be toned down a bit. I got the fishermans platter very good however i ordered no haddock and double clams. Very few clams but again it was good. I awould go back.
