What Stephen H dislikes about Twe's Sub:
**Pros:** The service is quick. I ordered a combo with a banh mi and a salad roll—my salad roll arrived in under a minute, and the sandwich followed shortly after. The prices are reasonable, with sandwiches costing around $7, and my combo—which included a drink—only set me back $10. The banh mi was fairly tasty and served on a bun that had a nice crunch without being overly hard. **Cons:** Unfortunately, the banh mi was a bit lacking in meat; it had only about a third to half of the amount I would have preferred. Additionally, the salad roll didn’t come with much sauce. Since I work in the area, I’ll probably return, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Parking is quite a challenge, with tight spots and only three available for the public. Finding a space can be quite difficult. I initially thought TWE's Sub was just a take-out spot, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it’s actually a full-service Vietnamese restaurant with reasonable prices and vegetarian options. I ordered the chicken sate sub to go, with all their subs priced at $6.99. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, telling me about their combo deals priced at $9.99 and $10.99, which include a drink and a choice between spring rolls, salad rolls, or wonton soup. Remembering my diet, I decided against upgrading—gotta exercise some self-control, right? I received my sub quickly and unwrapped it at my office like it was a Christmas gift. The ingredients were fresh, and the baguette was perfectly toasted with generous portions, but I found the flavor lacking. Having eaten many Vietnamese subs over the years, this one didn’t impress me. The sate sauce was mild and lacked spice. The addition of crushed, toasted peanuts was a pleasant surprise, though. That said, I was definitely full after finishing the whole thing. TWE's Sub deserves some credit for a solid effort on their first day. I’m open to giving them another chance for the dine-in experience, and I’ll update you on how it goes during my next cheat day.

I dropped by TWE's Sub one day to give it a try. Unfortunately, there wasn't much that stood out. Their pho was decent, but I've definitely had better. While the ingredients appeared fresh and the portions were generous, the overall flavor was quite bland. On the plus side, the service was good, and the staff and owners were very friendly. I found it a bit odd that they had a lounge area set up behind the counter for themselves. I might give their subs a shot next time to see if they might earn a higher rating.
