We spent a week in scuol at the allegri allegra music festival, where the allegri streichquartett an and at many places in the en valley. we went a lot and took... read more We spent a week in scuol at the allegri allegra music festival, where the allegri streichquartett an and at many places in the en valley. we went a lot and took to buy sandwiches in a local super market. on our last day we went to the caffe benderer, which is next to a fast sandwich lunch before we had to catch our train and we were happy to be picked up next door into the super market. there is a counter table with quiches, sandwiches and cake and we have selected one of the delicious sandwiches on fresh local brot and a ham filled croissant together with good coffee from the caffe. it was very good and cheap...for the Swiss

We spent a week in Scuol attending the Allegri Allegra music festival where the Allegri String Quartet performed at 10:00 and 17:00 in many venues in the En val... read more We spent a week in Scuol attending the Allegri Allegra music festival where the Allegri String Quartet performed at 10:00 and 17:00 in many venues in the En valley.We walked a lot and took to buying sandwiches in a local supermarket.On our last day we went into the Café Benderer, which is next door for a quick sandwich lunch before we had to catch our train and were delighted to be ushered into the supermarket next door.There is a counter selling quiches, sandwiches and cakes and we selected one of the tasty sandwiches made on fresh local bread and a ham filled croissant together with good coffee from the café.It was very good and reasonably cheap...for Switzerland
