We visited on a Sunday afternoon and found it to be quite popular for a place that's off the beaten path. The staff was efficient, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. This is an unusual place. The carpark is nowhere near the entrance and the inside is a bit like a caravan park club house. The usual pub grub menu but nice food, well presented. Shire's great food, great service but it would seem if you give a tip in cash the staff get it if you pay by card and give tip on card then it goes into management after finding this out I find it unfair on the young waitresses not getting what they are owed. Such a shame after a lovely meal we won't be going again as I find this disgraceful I do hope people read this and make a point of leaving a tip in cash.
