I've been a Marwans client since the opening. However, the service and eating as always was amazing on Friday, the 4th mai, for the annual port perry diva night. as the power went out, the personal, included, we are professional, quiet and engaged. I have to say I never had a bad experience and even without doing, marwans still delivered. cordial gratitude to great eating, personal and wonderful owners.
Drive through port perry (from midland to cobourg,) we stayed on Tuesday in marwans lunchtime. the place was full. Our grilled cheese and hummus plates were quickly served, hot (drilled cheese) and delicious for a fair price.
For my birthday dinner we ordered us. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. we ordered the Butternuss-Quash soup that was hot and tasty, but the creamy huhn alfredo was oily, it was lacking in cream sauce, noodles were gumsy and the huh was dry.
Visited here for lunch in Aug. 2022. It was a weekday and wasn't too crowded. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is good. I had a burger and it was delicious. It would have been good if I could have substituted the soup for...fries, but it didn't come with that and they didn't allow substitution. It's a nice place though. I'll certainly go back.
We recently tried Marwans on a day trip to Port Perry, and while it occupies a prime spot on the small, quaint downtown strip of the town, the eatery is hard to recommend. The dining room is small and was like the town itself, quaint...in design, although we sat on small patio directly in front. We learned that the full restaurant menu is not available outside, a fact not made clear on their website, and instead they offer a bar menu from their sister location next door. Very disappointing. The service was professional but cool, and the eclectic menu tasted freshly prepared but was unimpressive in flavour. Although everything was adequate, the food is very simply overpriced, both for location, the quality and quantity of food offered.
Marwans in Port Perry offers a menu featuring mostly soup, salad, and sandwiches. While the wraps and pita sandwiches were highlighted as flavorful and well-balanced, the soups and salads fell short. The restaurant, characterized by a cozy dining room and limited street view, received mixed reviews on service. Overall, patrons appreciated the passion put into the food but noted the need for further refinement. With a focus on locally sourced ingredients, Marwans offers a range of vegan options, although some found the selection to be limited. Overall, while the food was generally good, some felt that the prices were a bit high for what was offered.

Marwan's is a great option for groups with different dietary needs. They have options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diners. The staff is welcoming and the cocktails are top-notch. I personally loved the vegan Mediterranean wrap and the red lentil soup. They also have a selection of vegan curries and a vegan burger with vegan cheese and mayo. It's a good idea to book ahead as the restaurant can get crowded.
Marwan's has added more vegan options to their menu! It's a great place to meet up with friends. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that the restaurant is not solely focused on meat and dining with meat-eaters is enjoyable. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try.
This is a nice little restaurant for a meal when looking to eat with omnis. The staff were accommodating with alternate options for myself. I had a beet pecan salad. The service was quick and efficient. I would visit again.
The food is delicious and the service was great, we got take out but would sit in for a dine-in experience next time!
Decent number of Vegan options: vegan cheeseburger, cauliflower tacos, veggie wrap, salad, fries. Cauliflower tacos are to die for (we drove to town two days in a row so I could have it again). Updated from previous review on 2022-07-28

I have had nothing but amazing experiences at this restaurant. I absolutely adore the food, atmosphere, and service! It is definitely my top choice for dining out.
I love this place! I also need dairy free and I find there is a great selection of both gluten and dairy free options. I usually have the butter chicken or the lamb.
I felt very safe dining here. Menu is labelled with what is gluten free. The server and I discussed my choices
