I called and spoke to the manager, who... read more I ordered fried whiting with mac and cheese, but the breading was falling off the fish, and the mac and cheese was bland. I called and spoke to the manager, who assured me that my platter would be replaced. When I went to pick it up, the fish was still the same, and the sweet potatoes looked like someone had just peeled and roughly chopped them and put them on the plate. The mac and cheese was still terrible. As a Southern cook myself, I can say this food was far from soul food.

The only highlights were the macaroni and cheese and the yams, but even that’s a stretch. The fish still had bones in it and lacked flavor. The cornbread was the smallest serving I've ever encountered. I won't even go into detail about the cobbler. While the customer service was good, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Upon... read more I was craving soul food, so I called in an order for BBQ chicken with macaroni and cheese and string beans. When I arrived, I parked nearby on the street. Upon entering, I found myself in a convenience store atmosphere. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. My food was ready, and after paying, I headed out. Once I began eating, I was pleased to find that the food was delicious! The macaroni and cheese was especially enjoyable—the flavors were fantastic! Overall, I had a great experience.

Just had it delive... read more Ordered through Uber eats. They were out of yams and corn on the cob but didn’t even call (before delivery)to ask if I’d like something else. Just had it delivered without those items. Also, I specifically asked for condiments (hot sauce and tartar sauce) and it wasn’t delivered. The fish was tasty but 1 very small piece. The greens are very salty. Mac and Cheese is good. Overall not worth the price at all! Very small portions.
