What User doesn't like about Vine Cafe:
I really wanted to like this place, as it is locally owned, but the service has repeatedly been less-than-enjoyable. I have been to this establishment more than a handful of times and each time I am ignored when I enter the building, despite giving a smile (pre-mask era). People seemingly rave about the nice staff and small business/family-run business mentality, but I am just not experiencing it. The food is fine, b... View all feedback.
I visited The Vine around noon while I was in town, and I have to say that the honey mustard salad I ordered was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere of the restaurant was unique, clean, and inviting. Our server was exceptionally friendly, and I had a delightful conversation with one of the bakers, which was especially great since I have a passion for baking myself. From our brief chat, I learned that The Vine bakes high-quality desserts on-site, created by bakers who truly love their craft. I highly recommend The Vine for all of their delicious offerings. I was very impressed and can't wait for my next visit!
This is the best place to enjoy a smoothie, especially the blue velvet, and it's perfect for grabbing something on the go or sitting down for lunch. The chef and bakers keep the menu exciting and creative, always offering festive treats for the holidays. One of my favorites is their selection of Harry Potter-themed baked goods. Even though I currently live outside the city, I always make sure to stop by when I visit home. The family that runs Vine is incredibly friendly and hardworking. During the pandemic, they did a lot to support the community by making masks and shirts that encourage people to shop locally.
This is a very cozy place. It is very clean, and has friendly service. It is small, but has both indoor and outdoor seating. Don't expect a large menu, but the food is good. I would recommend Vine Cafe to others.
I love this place. It has the best smoothies. I have never tasted a better smoothie than the blue velvet. Even their juices are delicious. All their food is high quality and worth it. Only con is the opening hours. They're usually closed after 3pm. Some days not open.
I had a fantastic lunch! The restaurant I originally planned to visit was closed, so I decided to give Vine a try, and I'm so pleased I did. The daily special was a creative and delicious flatbread. The atmosphere is small and cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
