Was Emily Pirie at Pazzo a mag?
The pizza here was amazing! However, the atmosphere felt a bit chaotic and not very inviting. The music was quite loud, making it necessary to raise your voice just to have a conversation across the table. As for the service, it was average. What Margi Wickkizer dislikes about Pazzo:
Food was overpriced the parking stinks. My daughter got Shrimp risotto it was oversalted disgusting. The only thing that saved the dinner was the whipped ricotta. Won't be back for a long time. Do better. View all feedback.

We had a fantastic experience at Bar Pazzo! From the moment we entered, the hostess greeted us warmly, creating a wonderful atmosphere for our evening. Our waitress, Abby, was outstanding—knowledgeable, articulate, and friendly. She truly enhanced our night. Now, let's talk about the food! We ordered one of their many pizzas, and I have to say, it was on par with, if not better than, my favorite spots in New York and New Haven. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place is a local favorite and gaining popularity. I highly recommend it! As for parking, there was a garage right next door, and it only cost us $2 for the two hours we spent at dinner.

The music was quite loud, making it necessary to raise your voice just to have a conversation across the table. As for the service, it was average. Our server frequently disappeared for long stretches and didn't handle a declined card situation well. When she returned to our table, she bluntly stated that the card wasn’t working and tossed it on the table before walking away immediately. A tip for the staff: try not to jump to the worst conclusion; a friendlier attitude and a bit of patience can lead to better tips.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Scranton. I hadn't been there in a while, but I went for dinner last night and was completely impressed! I ordered the Elote pizza, and for dessert, I enjoyed one of the best crème brûlées I've ever had! The flavor was incredible, with the vanilla bean shining throughout the entire dessert. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and I will definitely be returning!

We are from NYC, and the pizza is absolutely spectacular. Delicious Neapolitan pizza that is so unexpected in Scranton, PA. Sauce was on point and so was the crust. The pizza in the pictures is really what you get.HOWEVER, the service was awful. The entire restaurant was nearly empty, but we were told we needed a reservation and that they were basically pulling strings just to serve us. It was 5pm, and we were told we need to leave by 6:30pm because someone had reserved the table we sat at. After we were seated, the waitress essentially abandoned us after taking our order (the bus boy served us our food) and we had to ask the same bus boy for condiments and even for the bill. Waitress hasn’t checked on us even once, and only stopped by because the bus boy told her we wanted to pay. She was in the front chatting away with the staff, as if she didn’t have a job to do. We can’t drink alcohol due to health reasons, so maybe for her we weren’t worth the tip. As good as the pizza was, we wouldn’t return because the service really is as bad as several other reviewers have suggested. It’s a shame, because the pizza is phenomenal.
