Was De Ro at McIlwee's a mag?
This place is a classic favorite. It's a local staple that never disappoints. I absolutely love the omelets cooked on the old gas stove; they have that home-cooked goodness that’s hard to beat. As for the cake, they don’t serve any, but honestly, it’s not even about the cake this time around. View all feedback.

Classic breakfast, cozy little restaurant, and absolutely wonderful owner! Thanks!
My family and I could not find a single diner open for breakfast near us this morning so I turned to Google to find something and I was lucky enough to come across Mc Ilwee’s. This is our first time ordering so I cannot say how their lunches/dinners are but we got two bacon egg and cheese bagels and they were wonderful! Also extremely cheap, fast, and the woman who took my order was so very friendly. I also happened to look at their Facebook page and noticed they post daily specials. Today’s specials were very appealing (and again, cheap! and included a free can of soda. We have already talked about ordering something for lunch or dinner today from this hidden gem of a restaurant. Thank you for being open and being wonderful during these difficult times! Update to add; we did indeed order dinner the same day and we were not disappointed. Their cheeseburgers are delicious, the macaroni salad is perfect, and their cheese and gravy fries are amazing! We fed 3 people for $25 and it was quality food. I love this place
