La Cucina - Scranton

We decided to celebrate a birthday dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent and Joe provided fantastic service. There were 7 of us and we ordered cannelloni, manicotti, broiled filet of sole, broiled salmon, and shrimp scampi. I wish I remembered to take photos. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Only 3 of us ordered specific drinks; I had a French martini which was delicious. Two of the ladies tried the creamsicle martini and loved it. Overall, it was a great experience and Joe was wonderful. The prices were very reasonable.

The restaurant advertised being open until 9 o'clock, but when our party arrived at 7:55 PM, we were told the kitchen was closed. Despite this inconvenience, we went to Casabella and spent our $200 there instead. They provided us with excellent 5-star food and service. La Cachina should not advertise false hours. This is not the first time this has happened, but I can assure you it will be the last. They have lost the business of my family.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times over the years and have always found it to be okay. However, a recent visit was a pleasant surprise as it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic meal. The mushroom in wine and garlic was the highlight! Both my partner and I thought everything from the appetizers to the main course was delicious. Additionally, I found the newly renovated atmosphere to be more pleasant.

My son goes to the university of scranton and he recommended la cucina restaurant for my men birthday dinner and it was absolutely delicious and very reasonable in the price. the bruised sole was huge and the waitress was very friendly, she brought my man dessert with a candle in it and gave him a free piece of cake to go. we will be coming back

Really amazing place to eat. I came here for my lunch. They did a great service.
