I enjoyed coffee, smoothies, and treats with my children while we walked and rode roller coasters through the park. This restaurant is a fantastic stop in a beautiful old park building. Don't forget to look for Waldo while you're there! View all feedback.
What Amy H doesn't like about Blackwatch Cafe:
The coffee was satisfactory, but the barista seemed unfamiliar with specialty coffee options. When I asked about single origin coffee or espresso, the server shrugged and admitted she didn't know, urging me to make a quick decision on my drink. It was frustrating that the owner or manager was present but not consulted for an answer. Overall, the customer service was lacking. The latte was average. I likely won't be c... View all feedback.
That was our last time after a great trip to scranton. We recommend stopping here and checking the park before we get out of town.(They also sell coffee, but wanted us to see a big park and new cafe) this place was exactly what we needed before our two-hour drive to the house.
What a great stop! The atmosphere is incredible and the coffee hit the spot. The location in the park is so peaceful and the owner was super friendly I'm a black coffee guy but the variety of beverages looked like you can find many phenomenal ways to start the day.
I loved this little coffeeshop and cafe. The architecture is fantastic, the decor was cool, and the food and drinks were outstanding. I subtracted a star for the wait and lack of communication between staff and customers... there were only two people on staff and that was not sufficient. People waiting half hour were having their orders taken by more recent customers. There should definitely be a numbered waiting line system.
Great atmosphere, great drinks pastries, and great service. Nothing gets me through or rewards me after a run better than these guys!
I don’t normally leave reviews but that was the best grilled cheese I have ever had. Smoothies were great too.
