Was Kathy Snyder at Adezzo a mag?
I visited Adezzo for the first time last night, and I can confidently say it won't be my last visit! The latte was fantastic and even had a heart-shaped design in the foam! The atmosphere was perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the owner was exceptionally nice. And I can't forget to mention the amazing peanut butter cookie that was as big as my head—absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place! View all feedback.
What Asia Mohr dislikes about Adezzo:
As an out-of-towner looking for a good cup of coffee, I always prefer to support local shops rather than chains like Starbucks, which I find to be bitter and overpriced. While this place is marginally better than Starbucks, I still wouldn’t recommend it. I’m sure there are better coffee options in Scranton, and I plan to keep searching. Unfortunately, this spot isn’t the one I was hoping for. View all feedback.

The coffee was incredibly smooth and delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
If they have the Lemon Cheesecake bars, you have to get one Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Located in the heart of Scranton, this is a fantastic place to check out. I had the lemon cheesecake bar and a chai latte, both of which were delightful—the cheesecake bar was especially tasty! The latte was also quite good. There's a lovely outdoor seating area along the side where you can sip your drink and relax. Price per person: $1–10. Food: 5. Service: 4. Atmosphere: 5.
Kid-friendliness: Great place with just an overall great atmosphere Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Recommended dishes: Breakfast Sandwich, Honey Almond Latte
The coffee itself was good not bad or great (I think housemade syrups would take the coffee up to 5/5) but the pastries... my gosh. Food is usually beside the point when I go to a coffee shop, but the LEMON CHEESECAKE and peanut butter balls here are TRULY great! 5/5 for the food, and if I lived locally, I'd be back often.

What a lovely little spot! I enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup and an outstanding latte. I highly recommend it!
This is a charming little spot! I really enjoy the addition of the small white piano. Their hours are fantastic, staying open later than other nearby coffee shops.
I really enjoy everything about this place. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant and laid-back, and the staff is truly knowledgeable about coffee. I highly recommend Adezzo.
Today was my first visit to Adezzo, and it really is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic, the barista and owner is friendly and approachable, and the atmosphere is inviting. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves art and coffee. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options available. I will definitely be returning!

Adezzo always has the sweetest workers, they offer treats to dogs, and Ashton even heated my pastry for me They are flexible with orders according to what you want, and the vibes are impeccable.
2023 Update: This café deserves major kudos for being LGBTQ+ friendly, featuring a large pride flag proudly displayed inside. It's a welcoming and inclusive spot that I love to visit whenever I'm in Scranton—truly a hidden gem! The outdoor patio is gorgeous, complete with a garden wall and an impressive art mural. Inside, it has a cozy vibe reminiscent of a Brooklyn café, with great music and a fantastic atmosphere. It's a relaxed place to get some work done, though it can get quite busy and noisy during lunch hours. They are also pet-friendly and have a charming wall adorned with pictures of dogs that have visited the café. Their food is sourced from local cafés, ensuring freshness, although it's not prepared on-site, which might be a consideration for some. Prices lean towards the higher end, especially for food, but I believe they are worth it. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful—every time I'm there, the manager Joe crafts the best oat milk mocha I've ever tasted, always served with a smile and engaging conversation!
This charming little coffee shop is tucked away in downtown Scranton. The atmosphere is lovely, and the fact that it's dog-friendly is a wonderful bonus! The only drawback is that the prices are a bit steep for the area and portion sizes.

What a charming little place! I visited Scranton from western Minnesota, and one of our favorite vacation activities is discovering local coffee shops. This one might just be our top choice! My sister was skeptical when we had to walk down an alley, but she was quickly convinced otherwise. Shauntelle's honey pistachio latte was exceptional, and I would gladly pay a lot for her recipe!
