What John Brown likes about Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar:
Views were spectacular even though obscured by remaining Phoenix Open grandstands. Wait staff were amazing. Very attentive. Food was excellent. La Bomba dessert was an experience in and of itself. It’s pricey but well worth it even just once. View all feedback. What Alexandra Kerluke doesn't like about Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar:
Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here... View all feedback.

read moreToro offers a mixed dining experience, with some reviewers raving about the amazing salsa, great service, and fun atmosphere, while others found the food lacking in flavor and creativity. Some diners praised the excellent food options, including the Havana Roll, Rainbow Tropical Roll, and heirloom tomato salad, while others were disappointed by the lackluster Mexican dishes and overly sweet sauces. The service received mixed reviews, with some highlighting attentive and informed waitstaff, and others criticizing rude or slow service. Despite some inconsistencies, the stunning views, original drinks, and festive atmosphere make Toro a worthwhile spot for a celebratory meal or a fun night out with friends.
