The Drunk Munk - Scottsdale

Fun atmosphere / aesthetics both inside and on the terrace, great DJ, Sunday night happy hour on food and drink was great and we had excellent service from Serena. The food and some of the tiki drinks were missing. We had the dawn roll, coconut shrimp, shrimp tempoura roll, Spicy yellowtail roll, which were all good, but nothing to rave home. The sushi did not come with ginger or wasabi, so it was a bummer. The Tiki cocktails that needed improvements were the Mojito and the dark ginger beer cocktail. The Mango Mojito was delicious, but I didn't know it was?t was stirred, so I drank all mango within the first few sips and then it was just a simple mojito after this lol, bartender could at least have stirred. My husband loved the Hula Hula cocktail. Finally, the hostess was completely checked out and did not try to welcome us when we went to us while talking to friends, I actually wondered if we were in the right place when we came in because it was such an unpleasant interaction. This place could be great, but needs some work! I think it's a 3.5 star? So she gave 4.

Huge disappointment all around. This place was recommended by a friend. I visit Chicago and I will say that this place is a complete waste of experience. They told us they'd put us right away. We had to wait for what is understandable. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered a beer and the glass was broken on the lip. When I mentioned it, they tried to give me an empty glass. Then the waitress took my beer and poured my beer into the new glass instead of getting a fresh one to prevent the possibility of swallowing glass. I had to insist I had a fresh beer. Then the food came out separately, what I understand with sushi, but everyone got their meal except my daughter. She was extremely late. So overall? ll enclose with: food stupid Pricy for basically frozen food. Sushi was fine, but if you want sushi, go to a sushi joint. The staff is irresponsible. most of their Tiki cocktails and desserts. The ambience was sterile for a true Tiki vibe. Wouldn't recommend.

Came for brunch. Amazing drink specials, the **** Mary's were really fun. Service is friendly, but....Very very slow. Don't expect to get your drinks quickly, but when you do get them, you'll enjoy them. The food is good. I had the tacos the first time and the breakfast sandwich the second. Both were delicious. I will definitely come back. The extreme slowness is now expected, so I'll anticipate it.

Great happy hour drinks and food! Our waitress seemed to be completely new, didn't know the menu yet. The staff was forgotten on a few details. We liked the funny Tiki decor inside and outside! Tiki drinks were not well done, they did not seem to follow a recipe. Had a good time with our friends.

Awesome outdoor seating, lots of cool tropical drinks? if you like sweet drinks (much more geared towards the ladies) good food selection (crab dynamite) was very delicious! Service was a bit slow, but otherwise great hangout spot!
