The food was excellent and worth the price, DInner menu is high quality and savory dishes. We got the million layer lasagna (can't remember how many layers it actually is lol) and the Alfredo diablo.. both were outstanding and highly recommend! The service was hugely lacking. Had to walk up to the bar for menus and drinks after sitting at our table for 15 minutes. Granted they get very busy for dinner but could be im... View all feedback.
What amariah haynes doesn't like about The Blind Pig (brunch Authentic Ny Style Italian Dinner):
When we came in we alerted to the fact that they were having issues with the oven and the food would take longer which was fine. I ordered the Bocconcini with focaccia bread which appeared charred and overall hard and dry for my entree I got the spicy rigatoni and some of the pasta was raw. We went because we saw it on Tik Tok but it did not live up to the hype and ik there were several ppl unsatisfied with their mea... View all feedback.
Wonderful live band on Sunday afternoon. What a terrific gem of a place! Every time I come here, I like it better than the previous time. The food is just fantastic. Obviously, the chef does this out of love or out of devotion to some higher power, but to me the rewards! —Edit: We have been eating here for a few years. We love it now just as much as we ever did. The dishes are incredible! The staff and owners are so kind and friendly that it genuinely lifts my spirit to be there. I cannot recommend this place enough!
We had read several positive reviews about this place and decided to try it for brunch yesterday. Upon entering, it took about 5 minutes before anyone came over to seat us. When someone finally approached, we explained that there were three of us, and she informed us that a table was about to become available, which they would clean and seat us at shortly. However, a few moments later, another woman walked in and was greeted warmly by what seemed to be the owner. To our surprise, the owner promptly gave away the table that had been promised to us. I politely mentioned that we had been told we could have that table, but the woman who had just arrived, apparently a regular, offered to take a smaller table meant for two. The owner insisted that she take the table for four, saying, “We are going to sit you there,” and completely disregarded our reservation for that spot. At no point did she address us directly, instead deciding that we would just get the next available table that could accommodate us. Feeling unwelcome, we decided to leave. While I’m sure the food is good and the restaurant is popular with locals and regulars, there’s no justification for treating customers this way.
Absolutely delicious!! This is probably the best pasta I’ve ever had, the texture, the sauce, the flavor was perfect and balanced. It did take at least 45 min to get our food which felt a little odd but they said everything is made from scratch and when we tasted it we thought all the wait was worth it. They also have cocktails, wine and beer. Can’t wait to go back and try more things from their menu
Fabulous dinner great food and wonderful people everything was spectacular A Brooklyn boy eating good Italian food in Arizona. Thanks Brendon.. Romantic atmosphere · Indoor Dining · Tasting menus · Fine dining · Great food
Hands down, the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in AZ. The food is amazing, service was great, the atmosphere is not upscale, but fun. I would absolutely recommend the shrimp scampi appetizer, or the prosciutto mozzarella. The chicken parm and braised short rib are to die for.
