This place is a hidden gem! It’s right next to a Filiberto’s, but it stands out on its own. We tried the carne asada burrito and barbacoa super nachos, and let me tell you, we’ll definitely be returning for more delicious food! The owner served us and personally cooked our meal to order—he’s really a nice guy! It was fantastic to have the option to choose our chipotle and chips while he prepared the meat fresh. If yo... We had a layover at Phoenix and needed to grab a bite from the airport. We found this taco shop on Yelp, conveniently located nearby, so we decided to stop in for a quick meal. The carnitas tacos, along with the rice and pinto beans, tasted just like a comforting homemade meal from grandma's kitchen. We will definitely return in the future! Everything else on the menu looked delicious too! View all feedback.
Excellent road tactics! I really love the tamosenpazier. beautiful salsa bar. friendly service.
Simple Mexican taco done exceptionally well. No fu fu restsutant just great tacos by people who know their craft well. What Hines legitimate street Mexican food try this place. No fancy decor or gimmicks just superb tacos
Every since we found this lil shop, we keep coming back! Everything I've had here has been great. It is the most comparable to San Diego's Mexican food that I have found. The food is always super fresh too! Last night, I had carne asada 4 Street Tacos. So so good! My husband always gets Carne asada quesadillas. My son loves the burros and they'll even add the fries to it to become a Cali Burro. Just know- the burros are huge! The quesatacos are great too. They're always super friendly as well. Thanks yall!
I was feeling basic and decided to get Mexican food for lunch on Cinco de Mayo. I ordered through DoorDash for pickup. My time changed from 10 to 45 minutes, which was weird. When I got there, they said they had a catering order and it would be about 25 minutes. Fine with me, I waited at a table. My food was ready about 15 minutes later and I dug in. It was spicy and delicious; I chose their chipotle chicken and added hot salsa, cilantro, pico de gallo, cilantro rice, black beans, lettuce, cabbage, onions, corn, cheese, and jalapeño cream cheese (extra $1.25), with sour cream on the side. So glad I got that! I needed it to cool my mouth down after the salsa. It tasted great; I think they forgot the cabbage but whatever. I was pretty hungry so I finished it quickly. I would come back and try other menu items! And would probably just order at the restaurant since that moves a bit quicker.
Portion size- 5 starsFlavor-3 1/2 starsOverall I would say that the food is a good value at the price point, but isn't the best Mexican food that can be found in the general area if you spend a little bit more.Business is clean and had lots of seating, but the food wasn't as on point. Carne asada had good flavor, but the al pastor had lots of rubbery fat that distracted from the taco and the barbacoa was ok. Chips were freshly made and the salsas were tasty. Burrito was big, but had more of a Chipotle vibe as it has more rice and beans in it than it did meat. Overall it was tasty, but points deducted for smaller ratio of meat.
