Was User at Mancuso's a mag?
Spur of moment Friday night date, looking for something downtown with open reservations. Was a lot nicer than pics make it seem. Service was outstanding, food was great. Very pleasant surprise View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Mancuso's:
Overall was satisfactory. Server did not ask to get us new drinks once they were gone. Food tasted good. Checking on the table more often would be preferred. I let restaurant know we were there for a birthday through open table but information was not shared. View all feedback.

I was invited to this restaurant by a blind date, even though it is located far from my usual area.
Pittsburgh blue is my favorite!!! Like I dream about eating here I love that the food is the finest quality, house made and beautiful! I love that the
After checking online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.
Ideal for Father's Day because the portions are large and strong. Airy high ceilings. 'Frank Sinatra' music. Very pleasant.
The service is great. The food was great. The prices were fair. Overall, it was a good experience. Portions are too big.
Metro 8 offers a mixed dining experience based on recent reviews. Some customers were disappointed in the serving sizes and quality of dishes, while others raved about the delicious food and friendly staff. The cozy environment and reasonable prices were highlighted as positives, along with specific menu items like the steak and lasagna. Metro 8 is recommended for a quiet dinner or special occasion, with mixed feedback on service and overall experience.

We came here for lunch with a group of six. The atmosphere is great, each dish was better than the last. Everyone in the party was impressed. Zabdi (our server) was incredible and attentive, always making sure drinks were topped off and plates were cleared from the table as they were cleaned off. Couldn't be more impressed.
We walked here from our hotel downtown. It was a bit hard to locate based on the signage, but we figured it out. It’s on the second floor via stairs or elevator. The food was fresh, made with high quality ingredients, and the service was attentive to our beverages the whole evening. I would come here again for their amazing shrimp scampi or try their soup. The house salad was great too.
It was alright. Not worth the price me and my partner did the beak and the duck, mild flavors. Definitely not worth the $40+ per serving. Service was great, wonderful lady that’s helped us. Just for the price point of food I would expect way WAY more pizaz. You’d be much better off saving your special night and money for something else.
Incredible service! Wait staff was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Food was wonderful. Atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Would highly recommend.
Very nice wait staff. The food was okay, better than average but not exceptional considering the heavy expense. Wouldn't go back just because there's so many other restaurants in that price range which are better. But a nice enough experience

Good wine and food. Location is convenient for games or concerts at Chase Field or Footprint Center. Plenty of parking close by. Service is friendly and helpful. Tables ate available for large groups with cozy booths for date nights!
We had a very nice time at Mancuso’s. The food was good, and the service was excellent. Our server, Ja’elle was very friendly, attentive and offered great feedback on the dishes when we needed help choosing from the menu. Well done!
Hostess and server was very pleasant. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
I ordered a crab lump salad for what I thought would be my dinner. So small amount of crab in salad that I needed to order an entree for dinner. That ended up an expensive dinner.
The escargot and the mushrooms were excellent. The fried calamari was overcook, tough and tough. Wedge salad was just OK. We only had appetizers. Staff was fabulous.

This was my first meal in Phoenix and it was VERY disappointing. The staff when I entered were not super friendly and quickly ushered me to the bar area. I thought that was odd as the restaurant wasn’t busy. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer andI’ve had better calamari from Red Lobster. It was super chewy and not quality at all! For happy hour it was $11 and I can’timagine paying the $16 regular price! I ordered the Fresh Salmon as my entree and it was flavorless. The dill sauce was sobland and the broccolini was hard. It came with very little linguini as well and for $31 again this entree was not worth that! I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for Italian. Prices were high and not great quality!
Absolutely outstanding from the service to the food. My waitress Auri was one of the best and most personable I've ever had in my travels throughout the world. The food was perfect. Delivered timely so that one dish flowed into the other. Excellent wineselection also. This is a must go to if you are in Phoenix. One caveat, fast for the day because the portions are very generousand you don't want to miss a bite.
I went as soon as they opened and it was nice and quiet. The bread was delicious. I came specifically for the clam linguini and I did not regret it. It was amazing! I would eat it again in a heart beat. I recommended the dish to a colleague and theywent the following night and also said it was amazing. The service was prompt and attentive. I would definitely put this on mylist when I visit Phoenix for work.
Steak Marsala was excellent. Gorgenzola Mashed Potatoes were delicious. Service was wonderful and fast. The only thing I didn't like was the Italian sausage in the lasagna, but that is just preference. 10/10 would go back. Oh! 1 negative thing, there's noparking anywhere.
Lovely dinner! The oysters and ????were great! Nice beet salad. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. The lasagna was good... but my hubby's is better. The bread tiramisu were so-so. Wonderful date night! Great service. (It's a little too warm inthere and the steak knife needed to be sharpened.

Absolutely Elegant and Delicious After finally finding Mancuso's, (it's a little tricky), we were transported to another world. The food , service , and decor all 5 star. Can't wait to go back.
The daily special was lobster ravioli, and it was amazing, just like the lobster bisque, lobster risotto, shrimp cocktail, broccolini, and tiramisu. David was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. I had a hard time choosing what to order because the menu offers so many tempting dishes that I definitely need to return soon!
This is a truly great restaurant with a delightful selection of food on the menu. Paella was absolutely fantastic as usual and the variety on menu provided optionality for our guests. Nicolle provided great service!
This was our second visit to Mancuso's for an early birthday celebration, and it was fantastic! The dinner was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Sofia was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a delightful evening.
I travel weekly for work and have dined in restaurants of all price points around the world. My experience at Mancusos was entirely unique. The service was incredibly pushy constantly trying to upsell me or my large corporate group.First the server started with increasing the appetizers to an excessive amount, then he started with the wine. He poured glasses in front of people who had no interest in wine immediately pushing the next bottle on me, the host. The server then pushed to order an entire round of Negronis for the 10 of us, which was preposterous. Next when ordering entrees, he pushed the most expensive entrees- which is reasonable, but he literally pushed two guests to get multiple entrees who couldn’t decide.Of course throughout the meal he pushed additional bottles of wine. Concluding the meal he pushed limoncello shots!Even though we were on a corporate expense account, I had no intention of participating in his egregious up selling. It was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable as I perceived him taking advantage the customer/vendor dynamics I was hosting.I will never return to this restaurant again nor would I recommend it.The tragedy is that the food was incredible, but the excessively pushy service left an unpleasant taste in my mouth.
