Food was good, prices are as expected for the area. We had pm dinner reservations and were the only older couple seated with a group of young birthday celebrants. We dine at lunch in a nice place in Michigan Called Sagano and pay around for the table side cooking and the cooks are a bit more animated and the food more plentiful. The ad for Kasai states it is “dinner and a show” so we were expecting a bit more entertainment other than the traditional onion volcano and egg flipping tricks. Ah well, I guess entertaining with food is limited at best. I was attracted to the torches outside when driving by a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant itself is lovely
I didn’t realize Kasai-Teppanyaki was the old Sapporo restaurant which is a upscale nice place. Our party of four was seated in back of room, but the level of background noise was still high. Not conducive to carrying on a conversation with fellow diners. The food was OK, but not over the top. We ordered from both the Teppanyaki side of the menu and other dishes. The menu was a little confusing in that you had options to order as if you were sitting at the Teppanyaki table, but it was not clear what you were ordering The price of cocktails seemed high for what your getting, but the service was good. Don’t think I will be returning soon
Super slow service but tried to make it up by buying a round of drinks but a hour dinner is just not fun ...
Great experience. ONLY complaint is that there is no room to eat! Between being jammed into the table space, there was no room to eat over the drinking glasses and other dishes left in front of us. They need to do a better job of keeping the table cleaned off and clear
We had a reservation at and were seated at and did not finish until (late reservation but very late for a family). Food was amazing and one meal started arriving the staff were very attentive
