If you love pizza like me, you gotta come here! Pizza never tastes the same to-go so come here in person. The coal brick oven gives this pizza a unique taste that?s so much better than any frozen pizza brand. Salads are fresh and the inside is decoratednicely. Can?t wait to come back! View all feedback.
What Shaniya Kertzmann doesn't like about Grimaldi's Pizzeria:
The atmosphere is very nice. The host staff is friendly and inviting. We went on a Saturday evening and service was very slow. It appears this location can seat more than the kitchen can handle. The food is OK but not great. Flavors are not rich, more subdued. The meatballs especially are underwhelming and look as if the come from a microwavable store bought bag. Would not recommend. I have visited Grimaldi's in Dallas before and always enjoyed it, so I was excited to try it in Scottsdale with my family while on holiday. We had dinner at the DC Ranch location last night and were impressed by the great pizza and service. The atmosphere was fun and felt just like a traditional pizzeria. It was a fantastic choice for delicious pizza, beer, and wine. We tried the prosciutto and arugula, as well as the pepperoni and the Don pizzas, all of which were delicious with a beautiful crispy crust and the perfect balance of sauce, toppings, and cheese. The DC Ranch location was also beautifully decorated with holiday lights, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The dining experience at this restaurant is always amazing. My partner and I often come here with our 6-month-old daughter and the food is consistently fantastic. The manager is also exceptional, always attentive and proactive. Today, he even adjusted the air conditioning to ensure we were comfortable at our table without us having to ask. I've noticed that he is also very friendly and helpful with other guests and when answering the phone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because our server could have been more attentive. They only checked on us once after taking our order and delivering our food. Luckily, we didn't require much attention. My partner only needed one drink refill, but we had finished our meal before it was offered. Overall, we still love dining here!
During my first visit to the restaurant, I decided to order the Brooklyn Bridge pizza and it was fantastic. The sausage and ricotta toppings were especially delicious. The service was excellent, with servers checking on me regularly and quickly fulfilling any requests. The manager even found out it was my first visit and greeted me with a complimentary cheesecake, although this may not be a regular occurrence so it's best not to expect free food. The prices are on the higher side, but I was aware of that beforehand and found it to be worth it for the quality of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are willing to splurge a bit.
The food at this restaurant is always amazing. My husband and I occasionally bring our 6-month-old daughter here, and the food is consistently fantastic. The manager is also excellent, as he is very active in the front of the house and always checks on us. Today, he even noticed that the air conditioning was blowing directly at our table and turned it down without us having to ask. He is always kind and helpful when interacting with other guests and answering the phone. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because our server could have been more attentive. They only checked on us once after taking our order and delivering our food. Fortunately, we are not very demanding, but my husband did have to wait for a refill until after we had finished our meal. Despite this, we still love coming here.
