Had a really nice cashier, pulled out 100 to pay for my smoothie but she said they didn’t 100’s with that being the only thing I had. But said it was on the house. definitely will be coming here from now on.
Really nice location. The lines are quick and of course always friendly staff. The displayed menu is not a complete list so it can.be difficult to order. I would recommend going online to view their complete menu.
I also attempted to recover my account on the Dutch Bros app, but I was blocked for no apparent reason. All I saw was a message saying that I couldn’t create another account. Overall, I think Dutch Bros is overrated; their drinks don’t deserve the popularity they have. They taste more like gas station beverages than anything special.
Dutch is absolutely fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly every time I visit. Be ready for a wait, though. This location now offers the option to order ahead for pickup at the walk-up window, which I tried recently and it worked out perfectly! They even gave us a little pup cup for the dog we’re watching. I really love this location! The kids always choose shakes or smoothies, while my husband goes for the Golden Eagle. It’s consistently delicious!
However, when the staff came to my lane to take my order, they instructed me to wait for the silver car to go first. This instruction felt unnecessary and condescending, as if they didn't trust that I could exhibit good manners and wait my turn. It really took away from the overall experience that I usually enjoy at Dutch Bros, known for their friendly service and understanding during longer wait times. This was a short line, so it was particularly surprising. I have occasionally experienced other cars in the drive-thru being rude, but that is rare. I felt it was unfair to treat me like those customers, as if I couldn't show proper etiquette. The management's response at the window focused on store policies and dismissed my concerns, insisting that they always instruct customers on the order to follow. I mentioned that I have been coming here for two years and have never faced such instructions before. The manager seemed disinterested and continued to smile, even when I expressed that I would stop coming to this location if this behavior persisted. I felt completely disregarded despite starting the conversation calmly, just wanting to share my thoughts. After two years of visits, this was the first time any staff felt the need to direct me on the order I should drive in line, which really detracted from the joy of the experience. For what it’s worth, Scottsdale Dutch Bros, this was truly disappointing. I understand the server was likely just following management's instructions, but that doesn't excuse the lack of respect shown to a returning customer.
