What Kevin Fraser doesn't like about Copper Mule Kitchen:
This is a family owned spot, not part of some big chain. And there is nothing wrong with it, just nothing special about it, not a destination. Around here the competition is tough and every place needs to stand out for some reason this one does not. This is a family owned spot, not part of some big chain. And there is nothing wrong with it, just nothing special about it, not a destination. Around here the competition is tough and every place needs to stand out for some reason this one does not. By all means do go and you will enjoy your drinks and food...and then forget about the place. Lacks any character or anything at all that will bring you to remember it. So if you find yourself in the area and want a bite, do indeed give it a try, and I don't think you will disappointed.
Randomly drove by Copper Mule and tagged to visit so glad we did!! Visited on a Friday night and arrived around 5pm, they had love music starting at 6 on the patio the patio was fully seated by about 5:45 so we were happy to have been able to grab a seat outside to enjoy the music and beautiful Arizona fall weather. We tried the Crete Fries, Honey Roasted Carrots, and Brussels Sprouts with Bacon for apppitizers/sides and all were really good. For the main course I had the Bavarian Turkey it was delicious even without the bun (food allergy). The happy hour menu had an assortment of mule options, I tried the passion fruit and blueberry and look forward to trying others in the future.
Nice restaurant in a strip mall. Service was prompt and friendly. We didn?t see anything on the wine list that appealed to us so we opted for water(! . We ordered the ribeye salad and mac n cheese. Both were very tasty and good-sized portions. We would return if in the area.
The Pork n green chilies street tacos were better than Diego Pops! Ate there for lunch, perfect serving sizes, great customer service. Will return! Oh, their dinner menu looked fabulous!
Dropped in for lunch for the first time today. Great neighborhood spot, tasty menu, cool bar. We tried the New Mexican burger and the chicken pita. House French fries are amazing. Met owner?s, Christi and James. Our server, Rita, was top notch. Headed back to sample their happy hour, might sample that mac and cheese. Full wine and bar selection with several local Huss flavors on tap.
