We will definitely go back. The food was great. The fried chicken melted in your mouth. The drinks were well made. The waiter Scotty was a super guy and gave us his undivided attention the whole evening. It was very romantic and a good place to just have drinks and small plates. View all feedback.
What Markus Ebert doesn't like about Benjamin's:
They were out of the “main” dish by 7:30. Basically just appetizers. What we ate was fine, but this was a birthday dinner and it was supposed to be special and a full meal. Stick with CPH. View all feedback.
The atmosphere is really cool and intimate, making me feel safe regarding COVID since there are only a few tables. They serve natural wines, which is a great plus! The food is good, but I would love to see Benjamin's shake up their menu a bit more, as it has remained fairly consistent during my three visits. Despite this, I continue to return for the amazing setting and excellent service!
The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and quick. The location and overall concept were appealing. However, the drinks were lacking; I was disappointed to pay $15 for a classic rum cocktail that only filled half the glass.
This is an excellent place for delicious and hearty appetizers. The service is outstanding, and the fried chicken is fantastic!
Really excellent stuff. Have always loved Citizen Public House and was excited to try this new concept. It's located upstairs in Citizen Public House (their former private event space), and is very intimate and relaxed. But more importantly, all the food was phenomenal. Lots of flavor and sophisticated, but without being overworked. Service was also fantastic with great cocktails, as you'd expect since they are a part of Citizen Public House.
Went for our first time will definitely go again. Good food, nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed the natural wines.
