What P H doesn't like about The Docks:
The oysters were awesome! The fried oysters were awesome! Scallops were okay. Waitress was average. The reason for the review is the final bill. The suggested gratuity is based on the total bill, NOT, for only the food and drinks. Beware. View all feedback.
The shrimp and grits are fantastic, and the steaks are equally delicious. If you're a fan of ranch dressing, you'll find the ranch here to be exceptional.
The oysters were fantastic, and the fried oysters were amazing! The scallops were just okay. The waitress did an average job. However, the reason I'm writing this review is because of the final bill. The suggested tip is calculated based on the total amount, not just the food and drinks, so be cautious about that.
I had the best ribeye in quite some time at this restaurant. The server was fantastic, and the view was stunning. It's a perfect spot to stop by!
I had one of the worst dining experiences at a restaurant here. A group of ten friends and I decided to try The Docks for a guys' trip, inspired by the online reviews we had seen. I ordered the Jerk Wings, which came submerged in oil and lacked any flavor. I also tried the shrimp and grits, but they arrived cold and tasteless. One of my friends ordered the same dish, and when it also came out cold, he decided to send it back. Unfortunately, they simply microwaved it instead of preparing a fresh batch. When he asked to have it removed from his bill, they refused and insisted he pay for it. This place does not serve good food, so I recommend steering clear if you're ever in Scottsboro. On a positive note, our waitress Brittany was fantastic!
Perfect location! Enjoying a stunning sunset over the water while savoring delicious Southern cuisine made for an unforgettable experience. The gumbo was outstanding, the fried green tomatoes were seasoned to perfection, and the oyster po' boy was delightful. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and grab a bite!
