Goosepond Colony Snack - Scottsboro

We stayed in a cabin by the water with a dock for our boat. The veranda was well-protected. The place was spotless. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return.

Gänse pond colony is a beautiful place to put your boat there, is a small fee that I do not remember what it is, I think it is quite small. The Docks restaurant is pretty nice, but it's very loud inside. Sit if possible. The small restaurant at the DockIs meets and misses mostly Miss . If you even avoid the bathroom, they were evil.

This place is absolutely terrible—holidaymakers, beware! The short, hairy female manager is particularly unhelpful. The pool is not operational, and they blame it on COVID, which is excuse-making at its finest. While COVID has certainly affected many things, this just feels wrong. The staff are lazy, and overall, it's a poorly managed resort. Additionally, it seems to be a breeding ground for mosquitoes, with tractors and pipes running all over the area. The grill is a complete letdown as well. It's frustrating to have spent $250 a night during a golf tournament for such a disappointing experience. Save your money and choose a proper hotel instead. If I could, I'd give this place a zero rating.

3 day golf trip with my golfing buddies. It had been several years since I had visited Goose Pond. Course was in great shape. Cabins were perfect for my group. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and hope to return soon.

Was really excited about a family camping trip but not now. We have a 6 and a 2 year old and stayed in a tent. When we arrived the lady said they have karaoke on Saturday night but it would end at 10. No problem. First night someone was up in the pavilion cussing and partying till midnight. Security guard did nothing. When karaoke night came, they ended well past 10. People constantly walked through our campsite. No respect for quite hours. Won't be back.
