As for the customer service... read more Very Small Portions indeed, in fact I thought my fish had eaten the chips, but the fish was so small this could hardly be the case. As for the customer service well no one wants to hear about a poor soul falling down the stairs. Couldn’t really understand why the gardener bloke was in the shop at all? He had no idea what he was doing I felt he was just getting in the way, perhaps there’s a shower through the back as he sure looked like he could use one. I also think I could smell alcohol on his breath Frankly I’d give this shop a minus star if this were possible. I hear the fantastic Fish chips from mackay’s van on a Friday night are outstanding. I’ll not be back.

The king rib was raw in the middle, the batter was not cooked properly, and the chips were soaked in grease. It was absolutely disgusting! We will not be returning to this place and do not recommend it.

The fish and chips were the best we've had in Duns, and the staff were very friendly. Bonus points for having plenty of brown sauce for my chips!
