A traditional Italian atmosphere greeted us on stepping in to the restaurant in the old railway station building. From the typical Italian menu we shared the Bruschetta £6) to start followed by home made Lasagne and Penne Mamma Carmela both £15.90). The Coppa Pavarotti sundae £7.50) finished an outstanding meal with friendly and efficient service to match. We'll definitely return when next in Melrose. View all feedback.

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend of a friend and I am looking forward to trying it at the end of the month! Was there last night. The food was excellent and the staff were very enthusiastic. Only aspect I thought that let them down was the outside of the restaurant as the drive heading into the building was covered in weeds, no hanging baskets etc, a big let down for Melrose one of the prettiest towns in the Scottish Borders!
9 of us arrived last Saturday only to find they didn't have our booking despite my friend having received an email confirmation. After a short wait, they rallied around sorted a table for us. The food was delicious. The service between our starters main courses was a bit slow however, a free bottle of wine helped with the situation. Would highly recommend the restaurant but double check your booking ;
Very nice food and great service. However, £17.90 for a pasta dish was a bit steep!
Enjoyed it very much here, the people serving on were attentive and friendly, A nice atmosphere and the food was very good. Although I didn't have it, I would highly recommend the langoustine, a lady opposite ordered it and it was sensational, half a dozen mini lobsters it seemed!
Had dinner with friends, enjoyed it so much we went back again. Lovely food and great staff
