The delivery was delayed, and when I called after waiting for an hour from when I placed my order, I was informed that it hadn't even been sent out yet. I had to pick it up myself and then was ignored for another 10 minutes while standing in the shop. This was the worst takeaway experience I have had in Galashiels, and possibly even in all of Scotland.

Our order was completely messed up with brown sauce on everything by mistake, which the kids did not like and couldn't eat. When we called to inform them, we were offered an apology and told to let them know next time we came in so they could replace the items for free. However, when we went in tonight, the manager was grumpy and defensive about honoring this offer. He suggested that we should have driven a 20-mile round trip to return the items. After causing a scene in the shop with his argumentative behavior, he reluctantly gave us a discount on our new order. The food quality is average to below average, with small portion sizes and high prices compared to other places. Although there are limited options for chip shops in the area, I would not be in a hurry to order from here again.

They told me it would take an... read more This is the worst fish and chip shop I've ever encountered. They are incredibly unreliable and can't even deliver a pizza on time. They told me it would take an hour, and three years later, I’m still waiting for my pizza! To top it off, they offered me a cheap bottle of cola as a consolation.
