It's an OK hotel I spent two nights here, staff are friendly, lobby is very good to sit and read a good book...but I didn't like the rooms at all the decorations are appalling, the mattress is sprung and very uncomfortable!!All in all it is OK for the price paid!! View all feedback.
What The Master doesn't like about North Stafford:
Absolutely disgusting hotel I would never recommend anyone stays here. The rooms are filthy and staff are very rude to you. Having said that, you are lucky and won’t be able to book this awful place for at least a year as it’s yet another one that’s block booked by Serco..! View all feedback.
Full of asylum seekers dumped here. Booking was cancelled on arrival with no prior warning.
Dreadful atmosphere,never again Rooms: 3 Service: 2 Location: 3
This establishment drives a need for a 0 star function on Google reviews. On arrival we buzzed at the door and were told they were closed and not accepting people in despite us having a confirmed booking (and that they had turned away lots of people already today). They were not interested in seeing our booking confirmation and would not let us come in out of the cold in order to work out where we were going to spend the night now that we were stranded. Zero care or effort customer service was awful. We saw the mixed reviews and thought it can’t be that bad but it was worse. Thank you to Travelodge for sorting us in the end cheaper and much better service. Don’t book.
Rooms were perfect for what we required, however, check in process threw up a curveball, be wary if you book via a 3rd party site, on arrival, was told I still needed to pay, even though, I had a booking confirmation. Proved that I had paid via my banking app, and that seemed to satisfy them, however, this shouldn't be happening in the modern age.
