Came here last night with a friend, and while I like the place and wine, the portion sizes were too small for the price. The squash ravioli was $22 and there was hardly any food in the small ramekin they gave me. I am a 5'3 woman, I do not eat that much, so the fact I was not full is telling. I booked the cellar room for my mom’s surprise 60th birthday and it really was amazing! The space is so cool and fun, the vibe was really nice and there were plenty of booths and bar space for guests. The staff was extremely kind and helpful starting with Stephanie who was in touch with me every step of the way up until the event and April who was our bartender for the evening. We were incredibly well cared for and this made our experience feel that much better! For food we had the charcuterie tray (amazing), crudités, fruit, and were lucky enough that companion pizza was there that evening so we got pizzas from them as well. The wines were great and again April was so amazing! Overall myself and my guests had a wonderful time and experience. I will definitely be visiting again and booking any other events I can with them!
My experience can be summed up in one word: Wow! Every single person we interacted with helped our experience get better. April and Katie gave recommendations on the food and we decided to trust Jamie with some drinks roulette, and I am glad we did. I had a glass of white wine and a cocktail, both of which I loved and my husband found a wine he instantly said he'd have to buy a whole bottle of, not an easy feat. Each dish we had was just as good as the last, all 10/10. My husband's favorite was the Piccadilly Carpaccio and my favorite was the Charred Zucchini, but the Mushroom and Crab Crepe cannot be passed up either. Against my better judgement, at the prompting of April, I got the Cucumber Cake with Wasabi Royal Icing and it did NOT disappoint. If there was any spice it was just the slightest tingle and the flavor of the icing and sponge of the cake won me over immediately. The Cookies Cream was also good, but I am glad my husband liked that one better so neither of us had to share haha! All I can say is RJ is an actual artist and we will definitely be returning.
The food and wine rotate a lot so it’s always a new experience when we visit.
Delicious food, excellent wine and cocktail options, and very hospitable and fun service. Consistently impressed and happy that this intimate gem exists!
Everything here is absolutely amazing from the wine to the food to the staff! Thanks for a great experience every time we visit!
