Jim and Jack’s is always busy on a Friday night, but the best type of busy. We had our drinks and food in and out in about an hour, maybe less. Can’t say I’m a fan of country, but they always have some sort of live music on Fridays (most of the time it is country lol). Overall one of the best bars on 50, if not the best. View all feedback.
What Spooky L doesn't like about Jim Jack's On The River:
Went to see the Elvis impersonator- he was terrible! If you’ve never seen an Elvis before, you may like this but he had a below average voice and was fronted by his sister who was not very talented either. They entertained the crowd but not with strong vocals. Service was excellent and everyone had fun Will return to see other acts, this one just wasn’t for me! View all feedback.
This place is amazing. From the food to the music. The dance floor is the best .
I bought 3 lemon drops for my friends and I which cost 21 dollars. I then later order 6 more later in the day. But when I ordered 6 (should have been 42 dollars) they gave me 7 and charged me 56 dollars. Even though they gave me an extra I didn't ask for, the total should have been 49 dollars. SO idk how that happened. The larger waitress had an attitude with her coworkers as well which was kind of funny but not ideal. Overall it was a good time.
Always a fun place with a great atmosphere. We go here for lunch too, it's a great place to catch a band as well.
Band was great, but a little loud. Great place for party
Disappointing experience. Looked at the menu online, only to show up and get handed a truncated menu. 0 expectation of such a switch anywhere that I saw. Would have loved to give a better review for a local owned place, but consistent expectations is important. Walked away with a sad unseasoned chicken breast and fries that tasted like they were fried, sat, got stale, and then refried. They were so greasy, but disintegrated when grabbed they were so dessicated from the frying. Service was spotty as well.
