A fantastic detour! From the outside, you might wonder if it's worth it, but inside, it's more than worth it. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the homemade dishes are generous and delicious. We don't regret the detour at all and recommend it to everyone.

Welcoming place. High-quality, traditional Salento food. I've been there several times, and each time it's consistently top-notch. Highly recommended.

We really wanted to find a simple, honest osteria with delicious, homemade food. Nothing fancy, nothing instagramable (even though Exedra made it into the feed : that distracts from a disappointing food experience. It took us some days but we found it here, at Osteria Exedra. The patron doesn't speak english, we don't speak italian but if you're a kind, open person, you understand each other anyway, with hands, feet, eye contact and maybe some google translation. We came back a second time in fact. Very nice staff, great pasta, the best bruschetta i ever had. Highly recommendend.

How to enjoy traditional Salento cuisine at home. Everything's fine.

Everything was excellent, from the fried foods to the first courses and the second courses. My son and I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the orecchiette with arugula pesto, ricotta, fresh cherry tomatoes, and almonds, and my husband ordered the penne with sausage and arugula... we left nothing! All the dishes are traditional Salento dishes, flavorful and plentiful. Thank you, we'll definitely be back. P.S. Since we were there on Epiphany, we were happy to know that the osteria is a 4-minute walk from the sand nativity scenes!
