When we met roberto, we knew we were there for a good night. we went to the mera during the day and booked in the night to dinner. the children really wanted...... read more When we met roberto, we knew we were there for a good night. we went to the mera during the day and booked in the night to dinner. the children really wanted...Käsefondue (it was the height of the summer) so we had prepared all bresaola from bormio like a carpaccio with lemon juice and olive oil. what a winner. then washes a bottle of good white wine with the Italian version of cheese fondue, cheese and milk (I had potatoes instead of brot). I would also recommend the ice with local blueberries. absolutely delicious, but of course with roberto they must have a digest that had a lot of fun. thanks for a great evening. we will be back in winter for a ski. I almost forgot to mention the views are probably the best I have ever seen anywhere!

The child... read more As a young family, we were catered for so well and looked after impeccably by the Confortola family and the hotel staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The children in our party ate well and were provided with a suitable selection of child friendly meals...served at an earlier sitting. Each evening we were presented with a menu sampling local produce and also catering for the vegetarians in the group. The portions were generous and the food delicious. Breakfast and lunch also met our needs accordingly, again catering we for young children. Overall a great experience.
