Robin's Nest Cafe And Bakery - Feedback

Was Sadie H at Robin's Nest Cafe And Bakery a mag?
What a lovely place to grab lunch! I'm really happy to find a local restaurant that offers tasty options for vegetarians. Although I've only visited for lunch, they also have BYOB dinners several nights a week. Their selection of prepared cold salads is excellent—my favorite is the sesame noodle salad, but the quinoa and root vegetable salad is also really good. Plus, her homemade hummus is a highlight. What Joseph B dislikes about Robin's Nest Cafe And Bakery:
I want to be fair in my assessment, but unfortunately, my experience there last night was quite disappointing. With only five tables being served, it took two hours for our dinner to arrive. When it finally did, the food was lukewarm, and both my wife and I ended up feeling unwell afterward. The chicken was rubbery, and the veal tasted outdated and heavy. View all feedback.

THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND GREAT DINNERS ON WEEKENDS BYOB
I normally don't do this because I don't believe it's always fair, but I need to say that after sending a private message to this establishment and getting no response I'm inclined to post. All l will say is my bagel had mold all over it and my coffee was made by a really sweaty man with gray chest hair sticking out of his shirt. Definitely not appetizing!
Stopped for a java while riding on the Hogs. Ended up getting lunch due to the delicious healthy food choices. The staff was equally awesome!
The food was top notch and they delivered straight to the house. All the food was nice and hot and delicious. Everyone at the party was asking about where we got the food. Thanks for adding to our special day!
We were passing through Wisconsin and decided to make a stop at Robin's Nest. The service was outstanding, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be adding this to our list of favorite places to stop!

I noticed they had a 'Help Wanted ' sign on the front, so I went in to apply. I asked for an application and was immediately screamed at. Maybe the owner was having a bad day, I don 't know. But one should never take it out on a future employee or better yet a customer! I later got the job and turned it down because i refuse to work in such a hostile, unhealthy environment. My boyfriend also stopped in there on a separate occasion to order a turkey sandwich and and it took about 15 minutes for him to get it. A cold sandwich. We were both disappointed with the service here.
I've gone here for lunch a few times and am happy with the Robin's Nest, I did not like the Village Bean which previous was in this space so was pleased to see a new business. The workers and owner here are very friendly and food is good. I've had a couple sandwiches and a flourless orange almond cake which was good. The pastries and salads all look great. My only complaint is their prices are a bit high. I spent $20 for a sandwich, side of tortellini salad, soda and slice of cake. But I still recommend trying this place if you are in the area and willing to spend a bit more than usual for lunch.
Really good coffee. Yummy breakfast. Friendly owners/staff. Very reasonable prices. Excited to see that they are now offering gluten free options. Will be back.
