I found the spices different from my normal flavours but novel. the place has live music, reggae Sunday, which was nice but an hour of constant reggae was a bit tiresome. There are plenty of people and a good vibe. my wife mac and cheese gnocchi, which was tasty. this is an Irish bar and plenty of drinks invludibg guinness and some really interesting cocktails to try. Then, she came running to talk to the person helping me. I feel it should be common sense to remedy this right away and not charge someone for drinks they did not order. The menu is not huge, but I have tried several things and they’ve all been good. I’ve gone alone, I’ve gone with friends. Always have a good time.The music is Sunday 12 to 3. Sometimes Irish folk, sometimes regular folk, sometimes reggae – small group acoustic. I love it. The drinks were strong, but I ordered the Parisian mussels and noticed that I only received half the portion I usually get. Additionally, it seems that the "buck a shuck" deal is no longer available. To make matters worse, the bread that came with the mussels looked like just half of a grilled hamburger bun. I was genuinely let down. Next time, I think I’ll go to Tinkers Son for my mussels instead.

However, since the chef changed about a year ago, I had to lower my rating by 2 stars. I even asked where the previous chef is now, as I would love to follow them for a meal, but I didn't get a response. Because of the changes, I've adjusted my rating to 3 stars for the pub food. On a positive note, the Guinness is still fantastic!

She responded rudely and insisted that the tank was full. Having worked in the industry for many years, I place a high value on respect and quality customer service. It's important for service staff to recognize that a 20% tip is typically reserved for exceptional service, not something that should be expected when the experience is lacking. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to your establishment.

The service was somewhat slow, but the Reuben sandwich and shepherd's pie were both excellent. The wings were average, and nothing else especially impressed me. Unfortunately, the chowder was a letdown; despite having bacon and croutons, there were very few clams in it. The drinks were enjoyable, but the bartender seemed a bit inexperienced and took quite a while to prepare our cocktails, especially since we were the only customers at the bar. Overall, it’s a nice place, and I’m open to giving it another chance—perhaps in 2024. I'm hopeful that things will improve. Just a note: I arrived about 15-20 minutes after they opened.

Burgers are frequently served at incorrect temperatures, and there have been multiple mix-ups with orders. The atmosphere has a typical pub feel, but the prices are high considering the overall quality of the food and the setting. Although the shepherd's pie is quite tasty, the lobster roll is small and lacks flavor. Overall, I would give it a rating of 3.0.

I was pleasantly surprised to find African Okra Stew on the specials menu, but it sounded so enticing that I couldn't resist giving it a try. Katie recommended it highly, and I'm so grateful I took her advice! It was incredible, just what I needed on a chilly, rainy evening.
