Oh my GAWD, FABULOUS! Laura was our kind, gracious server. We had the prime rib (big as a roast), mashed potatoes with gravy, beet salad, cucumber salad, beef tournadoes-they melt in your mouth. Everything was delicious! View all feedback.
HOLY VINEGAR! My husband and I stopped in around noon yesterday on our way out of town. We were provided dinner menus, and shortly there after our order was taken by our server. We chuckled to ourselves at how high the prices were, but looked forward to our German feast. As the platter arrived, we eagerly loaded up our plates with the various dishes. After our first bite, we knew we were in for trouble. The potato salad was sopping wet, and had caused vinegar to pool in the middle of our dish, saturating the other dishes piled high on our massive platter. Unfortunately we left feeling like the highlight of our meal was our dinner salads. We overheard our server mention lunch menus as we received our check. I think we will stick to our Frankenmuth German specials next time we are in the mood, this was a big miss.

The food and service were excellent as usual. Sourbraten is a favorite. Spatzle and red Cabbage complete the meal. Black Forest cake is the perfect end. Parking: Free parking out front.
We were a group of five celebrating our son's graduation from the University of Michigan. We were able to call and get a reservation at 6:30 and they also accommodated my father-in-law's wheelchair access. We all order different dishes and we were 120% satisfied. My father-in-law that has traveled the world said that this was probably one of the best steaks he's ever had. I had the smoked salmon and a lemon sauce with capers and asparagus... Oh my gosh, absolutely delicious! My husband had the smoked pork chops and he could only eat one because of their size and he loved the side dishes cucumber salad and schnitzel) so much he had eaten everything. We will be coming back here again. Wheelchair accessibility: The hostess accommodated my father-in-law by removing a chair and helped him scoot up to the table in his wheelchair ensuring he felt comfortable.
We had Joyce as our waitress. She is really attentive to her tables, very experienced. Only prob was we were charged $7.50 for 2 ice tea, which we did not get... water only. When she tried to redo the bill, it got very confusing and she ended up with a $20 tip on a $57 bill. We decided it was okay because she was quick, food as ordered was good and hot. We will be back, this is one of our favorite places! Keep up the tradtion... good food, good drinks, good service!
