Mauserhütte - Schwyz

Hampi und seine Frau Priska sind zwei tolle Gastgeber während der Wintersaison. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast willkommen. Die Küche ist vorzüglich. Vielen Dank, wir kommen immer gerne wieder. Hampi and his wife Priska are two great hosts during the winter season. Here you feel welcome as a guest. The kitchen is excellent. Thank you, we're always happy to come back.

Sehr unfreundliches Personal, war heute zum ersten und letzten Mal in diesem Restaurant.

Bei meiner Bewertung geht es rein um die Ferienhütte und nicht um das Restaurant. Ich würde dringend von einer Buchung abraten. Unser Aufenthalt musste Corona Bedingt leider abgesagt werden. Die Zuständige Person Herr Bürgler schuldet uns nach wie vor Geld. (CHF 680.00) Das schlimme ist, wir werden seit 2 Monaten komplett ignoriert. Es kommt keine Antwort auf diverse Mails, Nachrichten, Comebox und Anrufe zum Verzweifeln. Ein solcher Umgang ist einfach nur daneben. Irgendetwas läuft hier sehr falsch und daher lasst lieber die Finger davon..

We celebrated a bachelor party there in the summer. The accommodation for sleeping is for a group of about 10 people and in summer there is no restaurant, but you can barbeque. Everything was clean and in good condition. The style of the house in a rather classic Swiss alpine style, but not specifically a chalet. We had a very good time there. The owner was by chance also there and at invitation to our festivities. We had a very good time in the Mauserhütte and I didn't want to forget it. To rent it for a night it was definitely worth it. Very recommended!

Top spot for lunch. Good choice for a piste restaurant, tasty with small details in the food that it had roasted from the usual (e.g. the size of the bungalow compared to the meat in the carving was exactly right plus the bun had roasted, chips were well seasoned, not over salted). I'm not saying you're gonna die and go to dinner heaven, but you'll be pleasantly surprised how good they cook here. Plus the service was friendly and after a year from Coronavirus I tip my hat to any restaurant owner or employee who still manage to be halfway friendly. These guys did it. For people living permanently in Switzerland, prices were good, for foreign visitors they will appear high, but the price-performance ratio is really good and was right at the top. I would definitely recommend.
