The two-star rating only covers the service, whi... read more When I used to live in Schwabach, I often went to the Prinz and was always satisfied with the food and service. The two-star rating only covers the service, which was unfortunately abysmal on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the afternoon. The waiter, described in other reviews as a short, dark-haired waiter with a beard, was also on duty that afternoon and, in an unfriendly/provocative manner, pointed out to me that I was sitting at the wrong table outside. Based on the color of the cushions, I should have realized I was sitting at a table at the Holy Greek restaurant, which is closed on Wednesdays. Unfortunately, I had already ordered something by that point, otherwise I would have gotten up and left. He took his time with his lecture until my girlfriend arrived; this gave him a moment of (unsuccessful) self-promotion, perhaps. I will definitely not visit Café Prinz again and will tell others about my experience. Fortunately, there are still one or two alternatives in Schwabach.

A friendly welcome, a good spot in the shade, and fast and excellent service! The breakfast was a true delight.
