Clark's Steakhouse - Schuylerville

I give 5 stars. The food and service was excellent! The atmosphere was so relaxing and the employees were very nice. They didn't have oysters though, but that's ok. We would definitely return.

This is now known as 'The Basin Grill ' (same people, rebranded). I had 'The Jeffery ' as take out. It was excellent! Great flavor, tender. Delicious. And the fries were excellent, which is rare in take out. The only thing I would change is they could cut the fry portion in half, it was huge!

Stopped in for lunch and had a delish light meal with very tasty cocktails! I enjoyed the Lump Crab and Avocado and my husband the Tuna and Avocado, evidently we were in the mood for avocados! Service was excellent and the food was delicious!

We used to live in town and I grew up in the area. During our trip we decided to stop by Clark's since we hadn't seen the new location. When we ordered our drinks, it took all of me not to spit it out. The margarita was basically sour mix. My husband ordered a Manhattan and it was basically a whisky shot. To make it even worse the bartenders were clearly over serving some people at the bar and these two men were s faced and were dropping f-bombs and being so obnoxious. We are a young couple so we can sometimes handle rowdy people, but this wasn't expected to be that kind of a place , and it ruined the atmosphere, and a nice night out. We know the owner pretty well, but then found out the place was sold to new people. Hope this stuff doesn't continue because Clark's was a nice establishment....

We ordered take out a couple of weeks back, my brother in law and I got cheeseburgers cooked medium . They we literally the worst cheeseburgers ever! They both were burnt to a crisp, not even edible burnt. They also tasted like the grill hadn 't been cleaned in months. We ended up having to cut the charred side off the burger to make it worthy of eating, which was about half of the burger. This was the second time I had horribly tasting, burnt food from this place.
