The Guinness is amazing and... read more We look forward to our yearly trip to Schull,so, this is our visit and no visit is complete without our pilgrimage to Hacketts bar. The Guinness is amazing and the craic is the bedt. Barry, a huge thank you for having a poster of The Student Prince hanging in the back bar and then indulging me by playing my favourite song from the film. Great banter. Theres just no bar that comperes. See you next year.

The farmers' market is in Schull on a Sunday morning and it seems to be a tradition that the buskers at the market come back here for pints that later that day. You meet allsorts all with stories. The Guinness,Murphys,Beemish great. The banter and craic just amazing.Love Hacketts. Bought several T Shirts and umbrella so advertising Hacketts all around Belfast..see you next year

We ended up chatting to people at the bar and had a great night. The best pints of Guinness and Murphy’s around! Highly recommend

Great spot to visit year on year that never disappoints. Staff friendly the pints are excellent. They also have a good selection of wines by the glass. You won't be on your own if you want a drink chat. Only reason that I only gave 4 stars was that unfortunately none of their excellent food was available on my visits this time.
