Challenging because it 's pretty far outside of Basel near the French border, so they not only have to bet on people who got lost out there but also with some French auberges with exquisite cuisines right next door. However, they are doing a good job out there. Super friendly staff and always something new on the lunch menu. I was a bit unlucky with my lunch choice though, for one, the pork steak wasn 't cooked enough, and the meat was somewhat chewy, but our server took care of it. On the cooking part, that was, the meat was still on the cheap side. But hey, the place is nice and cozy and staff friendly; I 'd give them another chance for sure when I 'm back in the area.
