The Bähr-Keller in Schönbrunn im Steigerwald is one of the most beautiful and original beer cellars in the region. The self-made beer from the barrel tastes great and, despite the price increase from 2.50 euros to 2.80 euros, is even more than favorable for the Seidla (0.5 litres). The offer will continue to be typical Franconian bread times and several delicious daily meals at reasonable prices. There is almost nothing more beautiful than sitting under old chestnut trees in the shade of a cool beer. Recommended is a reservation or you are, at least on weekends, in time before 16:30 on site. If we are close, the Bähr-Keller is a firm contact for us and it is worth a recommendation at any time.

We, three thirsty cyclists from the Lower Rhine, were on Tuesday last week, much too early in Schönbrunn. All glass beer shops had closed. It was very warm, and we were very thirsty. We met a friendly family member in front of the Bähr family inn. The nice young woman recognized our dilemma and bluntly was organized completely uncomplicatedly that the cellar was opened for us. After 2 Seidla (per nose) the son of the house passed, he had taken over our hosting, most kind of us. We soon moved the door of the cellar behind us and were completely satisfied.
