She never tried to speak English so... read more Visited the Grunsteinstuberl at the recommendation of our hosts. The server was very good and dealt with our choppy German. She never tried to speak English so I don’t know if she couldn’t or just didn’t need to. The food was great...we both loved what we got. I got the Weiner Schnitzel and my husband has pork medallions with veggies and spätzle. The beers were of course great as well. They have a beer garden that I’m sure is hopping when the weather is nice. There were quite a few people there and seems to attract locals. I would definitely recommend!
